Sacrificial Giving 

 

In October 2013 Bethlehem Baptist will celebrate 125 years of ministry.  As part  of  our  celebration, we have undertaken a project to further prepare God’s  home for God’s people through the installation for elevators in the church.   The  installation  of these elevators will allow the elderly, the infirmed,  and  the  physically  challenged  to  better access parts of the church,  giving  us the wonderful opportunity to better extend our ministry to  people in these groups.  We will fund these renovations with gifts obtained  during  our  “Sacrificial  Giving  Journey”. 

The  goal  for  the “Sacrificial  Giving  Journey”  is $275,000.

The structure of this campaign allows  for  participation at various levels from $100 to $5000, and pledges can be fulfilled in one lump sum or incrementally.

 

The  Word of God rings true when it says in II Corinthians 9:10-11, "For God is  the  One who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way,  He  will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great  harvest of generosity in you.  Yes, you will be enriched in every way so  that  you  can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God."
